1. Definitions

In these Terms & Conditions:

• "We", "Us", "Our" refers to the European Travel Research Initiative and its affiliated partners
• "You", "Your" refers to the participant in the survey and recipient of travel rewards
• "Travel Reward" refers to the 5-night European city break voucher
• "Survey" refers to the research questionnaire and qualification process
• "Partners" refers to third-party travel and financial services providers

2. Eligibility Requirements

2.1 Basic Eligibility

To participate and claim your travel reward, you must:

• Be at least 18 years of age
• Be a legal resident of the United Kingdom
• Have a valid UK postal address
• Have a working UK mobile phone number
• Complete the survey honestly and in full
• Not have previously claimed this offer

2.2 Verification Requirements

We reserve the right to verify your eligibility through:

• Electoral roll checks
• SMS verification to your mobile number
• Address verification services
• Identity confirmation upon travel document collection

3. The Travel Reward

3.1 What's Included

Your free European city break includes:

• 5 nights accommodation in your chosen destination
• Hotel accommodation in centrally located properties (3-5 star equivalent)
• Room only basis (meals, flights, and transfers not included)
• Flexible booking within 18 months of voucher issue

3.2 What's NOT Included

• Flights or transportation to/from destination
• Meals, drinks, or room service
• Travel insurance
• Tourist taxes or resort fees
• Any additional nights beyond the 5 included
• Upgrades to premium rooms (available at additional cost)

3.3 Booking Conditions

Booking Window	Must be booked within 18 months of voucher issue date
Travel Completion	Travel must be completed within 24 months of voucher issue
Blackout Dates	Major holidays, festivals, and peak season dates may be excluded
Availability	Subject to hotel availability at time of booking
Advance Booking	Minimum 60 days advance booking required
Changes	One free date change permitted; subsequent changes £25 fee
Cancellation	Cancelled bookings forfeit the voucher with no refund

4. Research Participation Requirements

4.1 Initial Requirements

• Complete all survey questions honestly and thoroughly
• Provide accurate contact and demographic information
• Consent to be contacted about financial services and products
• Review educational materials about government savings schemes

4.2 Ongoing Participation

As a condition of receiving your travel reward, you agree to:

• Receive and review information about investment and savings opportunities
• Accept contact from our approved financial services partners
• Participate in at least one telephone consultation about financial planning (typically 20-30 minutes)
• Remain contactable for 12 months following voucher issue

4.3 Communication Consent

By accepting these terms, you explicitly consent to receive:

• Email communications about financial products and services
• SMS messages related to your survey participation and travel booking
• Telephone calls from financial advisers and investment specialists
• Postal mailings about relevant financial opportunities

5. Voucher Terms and Delivery

5.1 Voucher Delivery

• Travel vouchers sent via Royal Mail Special Delivery within 5-7 business days
• Signature required on delivery
• Vouchers are personalised and non-transferable
• Lost vouchers may be replaced once (£15 administration fee)

5.2 Voucher Validity

• Vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash
• No cash alternative is available
• Vouchers have no resale value
• Expired vouchers cannot be extended or replaced

6. Your Obligations

By participating, you agree to:

1. Provide true, accurate, and complete information
2. Notify us of any changes to your contact details
3. Use the travel reward for personal use only
4. Not attempt to claim multiple rewards using different identities
5. Comply with all hotel terms and conditions during your stay
6. Pay any additional costs not covered by the voucher
7. Respect blackout dates and booking restrictions

7. Our Rights and Limitations

7.1 We Reserve the Right To:

• Verify all information provided
• Refuse or cancel rewards for breach of these terms
• Modify hotel options based on availability
• Substitute destinations of equal value if necessary
• Contact you regarding your survey responses
• Share your information with partners as outlined in our Privacy Policy

7.2 Limitation of Liability

We are not liable for:

• Acts or omissions of hotels, airlines, or other travel providers
• Changes to travel plans due to force majeure events
• Personal injury or loss during travel
• Failure to book within the validity period
• Additional costs incurred during travel

8. Intellectual Property

All content on our website, including text, graphics, logos, and software, is our property or that of our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from:

• Your breach of these terms
• Your use of the travel reward
• Any false information you provide
• Your violation of any laws or third-party rights

10. Governing Law and Disputes

10.1 Applicable Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.

10.2 Dispute Resolution

We aim to resolve any disputes amicably. If you have a complaint:

1. Contact our customer service team first
2. If unresolved, submit a formal written complaint
3. We will respond within 14 business days
4. If still unresolved, you may pursue legal remedies

11. Changes to Terms

We may modify these terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website. Your continued participation constitutes acceptance of modified terms.

12. Severability

If any provision of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

13. Entire Agreement

These terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the survey and travel reward program.

15.1 Cooling-Off Period

You have 14 days from receiving your voucher to cancel without penalty. Cancellation must be in writing. Once you book travel dates, this right is waived.

15.2 Financial Promotions

Any financial products mentioned in follow-up communications are regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority. We are not authorized to provide financial advice. Always seek independent financial advice before making investment decisions.

15.3 Data Protection

Your rights under GDPR are outlined in our Privacy Policy. We process your data lawfully based on legitimate interest and consent for marketing activities.
